You hear "Murano" and the image of blown glass immediately springs up. Murano, in all respects a "little Venice", is famous all over the world for the refined creations of its master glassmakers.
We will discover the heart of Murano with a pleasant walk that will touch the main attractions including the ancient church of San Donato and the renovated Glass Museum. The tour will end with a visit to a furnace to attend a wonderful demonstration of artistic glass production according to the oldest techniques of master glassmakers.
"Once I wrote in a prologue 'Venice of crystal and twilight'. Twilight and Venice are almost two synonyms for me, but our twilight has lost light and fears the night. Venice is a delicate and eternal twilight, without a before or an after".
(Jorge Luís Borges)
