THE ISLANDS OF THE LAGOON - Murano and Burano

Murano and Burano are the most important islands in the Venice lagoon.
On Murano, glass becomes an artistic form and on Burano lace is still made by hand.

The tour will start directly from your hotel or agreed upon place where a water taxi will pick you up.
The first stop will be the island of Murano where you will be able to see the art of glass blowing and watch the glass masters work the glass, an antique art form which is incredibly fascinating.
Once you leave Murano you will get back on board the water taxi and travel to Burano - an amazing island with thousands of colorful houses, home to fishermen and many women who continue to make lace. In Burano you can visit a historical lace shop where everything is handmade, and upon request you can enjoy the "Gatto Nero" restaurant which is famous for its creative Venetian cuisine.

At the end of the tour you will be taken back to your hotel or starting point.

The service may be purchased up to 48 hours in advanced.

Upon request:
- lunch on Burano island at the “Gatto Nero”     restaurant
- a guide
- a bottle of Champagne
